Stuyvesant Town

Stuyvesant Town, or better known as Stuy Town, is a sprawling complex near the East river and was originally created as a response to provide affordable housing. Today, the buildings include amenities like a public safety force, playgrounds, basketball courts, laundry, and more. Thanks to its amazing location, residents are within a walking distance to major supermarkets (Trader Joes & Whole Foods), restaurants, theaters, bookstores, music venues, and a host of transit lines.
