A room in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Pets Upon Approval. Nearby subway stations include: Greenpoint Av. private bath private room rent period: monthly Hello! I am subletting my room until the lease is up in August but would consider shorter potentially (no less than three months). You would also have the option of taking over the lease, or starting a new lease in August. I have also spoken with the landlord about potentially moving this up to May. The other roommates are two males (28, 34). It is a three bed, two bath apartment and this bedroom has it's own bathroom. The roommates are easygoing, laidback and social. One works in TV production and the other in sales. They like to get out and enjoy NYC and also like to have a clean living space to come back to and relax. The apartment has great amenities including roof, gym, game room and large shared backyard. There is also laundry in the building. It is about a 6 minute walk to the Greenpoint G stop or 12 minute walk to Vernon-Jackson 7 stop which can get you to Grand Central in less than 20 minutes total from our door. The room is the larger room downstairs so you will have your own bathroom, the two rooms upstairs share a bathroom. The roommates stay up relatively late so don't require super early "quiet time" however everyone likes to be respectful of others sleep and works schedules, they also like to keep a clean and chill living environment. Rent is 1300, internet and cable 33 total, and electric varies from 40-90 depending on how good everyone is about turning things off. Someone also comes to clean once per month and that is 40 each. Let us know a little about yourself and if you have any questions! Month to month sublet, first months rent and security deposit required for move in. Minimum 30 days notice for move out. This quiet neighborhood has a lot to offer. Everything from small mom and pop shops, McCarren Park, tasty Polish food and of course, the G train. The skyline views of Manhattan from Greenpoint are probably the best you can get in North Brooklyn. Often chosen for movie and TV shows, Greenpoint is set of HBO's Girls.
