New York - Nooklyn's first storefront in Manhattan will open on May 1st in the heart of Manhattan's Lower East Side neighborhood. The storefront is located at 101 Stanton Street, joining many other Brooklyn businesses that have crossed the bridge into Manhattan's Lower East Side.
"We're incredibly excited to bring our end-to-end digital leasing platform and brokerage services to Manhattan," said Moiz K. Malik, Nooklyn's Chief Financial Officer. "The Lower East Side is a perfect match for Nooklyn's first Manhattan storefront. The coffee, culture and art of the neighborhood make us feel right at home."
Nooklyn is committed to hiring an additional 375 real estate agents in 2018, in addition to the 300 that currently work at Nooklyn. Currently, Nooklyn is the fourth largest brokerage by agent head count in Brooklyn, and number one rentals-focused brokerage. In 2017, Nooklyn renters performed 1.4 million searches on Nooklyn's natural language search for apartments and roommates.
"We're on a mission to fix the experience for renters to find apartments and roommates," said Harley Courts, Nooklyn's CEO. "Last year we helped 9,989 renters find 3,526 apartments in Brooklyn, it's time for us do the same in Manhattan."
Renters looking to learn more about Nooklyn's products and services can visit the store every day from 11am to 7pm or by appointment. Renters can additionally download the Nooklyn app on the iOS App Store to search, apply and pay right from their iPhone.
Coinciding with the launch of Nooklyn's Lower East Side location, Nooklyn has signed multiple exclusive new developments with hundreds of units coming to market across Manhattan in 2018 from the Upper East Side to Kips Bay to Two Bridges.
