SMS Program

1. What these messages are

Nooklyn's leasing agents send customer-care text messages to renters about apartment tours, availability, and applications. Every message is a one-to-one exchange with a leasing agent about an apartment you asked about. We do not send marketing, promotional, or bulk text messages on this program. Message frequency varies. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messages on this program are sent under the Nooklyn name. We use SeeClickRent as our leasing platform and it delivers these messages on our behalf; sharing your number with a provider so it can deliver a message you asked for is not sharing it for that provider's own marketing.

2. Who may text you, and when

A Nooklyn agent may only start a new text conversation with you after you have given written or verbal consent through one of the paths in sections 3, 4, or 5. We record your consent along with where it came from and when.

If you text one of our leasing numbers first, our leasing team may reply to you on that conversation. That is the only thing your inbound text permits — it does not let an agent start a new conversation with you later, and it does not enroll you in anything beyond the reply.

3. Website opt-in

Enter your mobile number and check the consent box — unchecked by default — on our SMS opt-in page, or on any Nooklyn tour or lead form. This is the call to action; it records your consent and texts you the confirmation in section 6. The consent box carries this language:

4. Verbal opt-in

A Nooklyn agent reads the following disclosure aloud, you agree, and the agent records the consent and its date against your contact record:

5. Resubscribing after STOP

If you have opted out, text START, YES, or UNSTOP to the leasing number you were texting to allow our leasing team to reply to you again. We confirm with:

6. What we send when you opt in

The first time we contact you on a conversation, you receive this disclosure:

7. Keywords

These are the only keywords we act on. Any other text you send is treated as an ordinary message to your leasing agent.
