Selected as the neighborhood for Columbia University’s expansion plans and already serving students of City College of NY, Manhattan School of Music, and the Jewish Theological Seminary, Manhattanville is on track to be one of the more student-centric areas of the city. Aligning with the eastern part of this neighborhood is St. Nicholas Park, and to the west are the West Harlem Piers, where you can go to see views of the Hudson and even hop on a kayak for a day on the water. Access to the 1, A, B, C, and D subway lines makes getting around a painless affair.
