Morris Heights is a small but hilly neighborhood in the west part of The Bronx. Despite the hills, Morris Heights is often considered one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the Bronx. Though the neighborhood is small, it is vibrant and full of character. You can often find a food stand on the streets and some specialty shops. It is also home to the birthplace of hip-hop.
